Winery Events - Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards Winery is open Friday 5-8pm and Saturday & Sunday, 12-5:30pm, with seating in our historic wine orchard. Bottles are available in the farm store seven days a week.

Enjoy wine by the glass, tasting flights, and weekend music. Light fare including chips & salsa baskets, charcuterie, and cheese plates are available. Our Barn Door Café is open for lunch fare, snacks, and treats. Groups are limited to 8 guests. Greater than 8 require a reservation; please email tm****@*************ds.com

Fall Family Fun Weekends

Every Weekend, September 6 – November 2, 10am-5pm

Come to Terhune Orchards for a day of family fun on the farm! What better way to celebrate fall than with Pick-Your-Own Apples and Pumpkins! Enjoy pony rides, pedal tractors, and hippity hop corral; or visit the Corn Stalk Maze, hay bale maze, barnyard sports barn, and our barnyard of farm animals. Pumpkin painting, farm trails, live music, fresh farm lunch fare, wine tasting — there’s something for everyone!

Winery: For weekend entry, admission tickets must be purchased. Winery seating is limited to maximum of 8 guests per group.

Test your knowledge, have fun, and win prizes with DJ Iron Mike in the Terhune Orchards Winery. Rounds will include categories such as General Knowledge, Entertainment, History & Geography, Sports, and Name That Tune. Grab your team and come out for a fun evening! No cover charge. Trivia kicks off at 6pm.

Winery Weekend Music Series

Every Weekend, year-round, 12-5pm

Join family and friends for our winery music series all year long Grab a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and relax. Enjoy live music from local artists each week in our wine orchard and, when the weather turns colder, cozy heated wine barn. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 1pm-4pm. (note during a festival admission tickets are required for winery access)

Pie Sampling Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, November 15 & 16, 12-4pm

After a five year hiatus, Pie Tasting Weekend returns on November 15 and 16! Join us to sample a variety of delicious pies. We’ll have rows of pies in our wine barn; the smell will be divine! Come taste the pies of your choice and pick your favorite(s) to order for the holidays. A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit HomeFront and Project Freedom. $10 per person includes tasting of one of each of the 15 kinds of pie that Terhune has to offer. Winery will be open in the orchard for tastings and live music, 12-5pm.

Winery with Music, Firepits & Mulled Wine

Saturdays & Sundays, November 22nd – March, 12-5pm

Join us for holiday cheer in the winery and meet up with family and friends to enjoy live music every Saturday and Sunday this winter. Seating is available indoors amongst the wine tanks in our cozy wine barn and outdoors with firepits and outdoor heaters. Enjoy hot mulled wine, tasting flights of Terhune favorite wines, and wine by the glass. All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. Light bites of cheese plates and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery. Perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine by the fire.

Valentines Arrangements & Wine Tasting

Gather your Galintines and loved ones -Join Terhune Orchards owner Tannwen Mount to create a Valentine’s arrangements with greens, flowers, and other decorative items while enjoying wine and light fare with friends. Held in our winery what a great way to gather for winter cheer.

Wine & Chocolate Wine Trail Weekend – Two Weekends of Chocolate Fun

With 18 varieties of wines, guests can enjoy our wide array of offerings. For a weekend, we are offering a special wine and chocolate pairing of locally made chocolates and Terhune wines. Chocolate pairing includes wine flight, chocolates and a souvenir glass. We have partnered with Pierre’s Chocolates of New Hope, PA, known for their old world recipes and single origin artisan chocolates.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend in the Winery

Saturday & Sunday, March 14 & 15, 12pm-5pm

Toe Tapping Irish Tunes all weekend as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the winery. On Saturday listen to Irish Tunes and Sunday enjoy the music of Shamrock Shenanigans (with Mike Tusay). Enjoy Terhune wines, tasting flights and mulled wine. Savory delights are available to accompany your wines. Don’t forget to stop in the farm store for fresh homemade Irish soda bread.

All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. Light bites of cheese plates, sandwiches and grain bowls, and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery. Perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine by the fire. Music is from 1pm-4pm.

Catch up with friends by the fire pit outside the winery. Inside the cozy wine barn, enjoy our 18 wine varieties. Live music from 1pm-4pm and homemade fare available.

Sips & Painting Evening

Friday March 27, 5:30-7:3opm

Join us in the winery for an evening of painting and wine tasting. An experienced art instructor will guide the group through a painting session. Channel your inner Picasso as you sip on a wine flight of Terhune Orchards’ own delicious wines — included for free! All materials will be provided. Additional wine and light bites available.

$60 per person. Advance registration required.

Sips & Make Your Own Planter Night

Friday April 23, 5:30-7:3opm

Springtime is the perfect time for making herb and annual planters. Join owner Reuwai Mount Hanewald for an evening of planting your very own patio planter. Our herbs and annuals are grown in our greenhouse. Over Terhune wine, have fun making a planter of your own. Price includes one flight of Terhune wine, plants, container, and all materials needed. Light bites available for purchase.

Mother’s Day Wine Trail Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, May 9 & 10, 12-5pm

Celebrate Mom on this special weekend with $2 off tasting flights all weekend for moms. What more wonderful way to treat her than with an afternoon of wine tasting and fresh open air in the Terhune Wine Orchard? Enjoy live music all weekend. The whole family is welcome here at Terhune Orchards. With plenty of seating among our 100 year old apple trees, enjoy a glass of wine or a tasting flight. Light fare available. After wine tasting, visit the barnyard and farm store or take a walk on our farm trail.

Sips & Make Your Own Planter Night

Friday June 12, 5:30-7:30pm

Join friends in the wine orchard for an evening of creativity led by a fun and engaging artist as we paint our own wine glasses. Listen to live music of local musicians at our Sunset Sips & Sounds. Wine tasting flight is included; additional wine and light bites available. No experience needed. Take home your masterpiece!

Antique Car Show

Saturday June 20, 10am-3pm

The Antique Automobile Club of America Mid-Jersey Region returns to Terhune Orchards! Join us for a display of antique vehicles on Saturday, June 20 from 10am-3pm. This group of cars and trucks will take you back to a time before seat belts and cup holders were invented. Bring your kids and grandchildren so they can see how motoring used to look. Owners will be nearby and happy to explain the uniqueness and quirks of their cars.

Enjoy a day on the farm with live music, lunch, and snack food. Visit the winery in the orchard as you enjoy the car show.

Wine & Flower Arrangements

Thursday July 23, 5:30-7:30pm

Join owner Reuwai Mount Hanewald for an evening of wine & flower arrangements. Pick your own flowers in our own patch. Enjoy wine flights as Reuwai leads you in making arrangements (vases provided). $45 per person. Flowers, vase, and one tasting flight are included.

Father’s Day Winery Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, June 20 & 21, 12-5pm

Visit the wine orchard for a celebration with Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery to celebrate Dad. What better way to treat him than an afternoon of wine tasting? Dads can enjoy $2 off tasting flights this weekend. The whole family is welcome here at Terhune Orchards. Kids can have fun visiting the barnyard of animals and playing on the tractors. We will have music and light fare to satisfy the whole family. After wine tasting, take a walk on the farm trail and visit the farm store.

Sunset Sips & Sounds

Every Friday, June – September, 5-8pm

Come join us in our historic apple orchard for Terhune wine, music, light bites, and friend-filled evenings every Friday night, June 5th through September 4th at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery. What better way to unwind after a long week? Meet friends, bring your family, and enjoy a stunning farm sunset. Grab a glass of one of our award-winning wines, a tasting flight, or a wine slushy, sit back, relax, and enjoy live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music from 5pm-8pm. Winery is open 12pm-8pm. It’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend!

Sangria Weekends

Saturdays & Sundays in August, 12-5pm

Join us every weekend in August in the Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery Orchard for Sangria Weekends. Cool off with a glass of our delicious Sangria paired with fresh fruits. While you are here, sample our other award-winning wines, enjoy a glass, or take home a bottle. Live music every Friday from 5-8pm and Saturday & Sunday from 1-4pm.

Holiday Wine Trail Weekend

Make a day of visiting New Jersey wineries on this special Holiday Wine Trail Weekend. Celebrate the holidays with families and friends at Terhune Orchards. Relax after Thanksgiving with a wine tasting and glass of wine on the farm. Firepits will be out to enjoy (conditions permitting). Hot chocolate and s’mores kits for kids (and young at heart) are available.
