The Terhune Orchards Farm Store is filled with high quality fresh fruits and vegetables. On our 250-acre family farm we grow over 50 different crops including over two dozen varieties of tomatoes and peaches, thirty varieties of apples, a dozen peppers and all of your favorite vegetables. You can stop by or shop online for produce that’s picked daily and ready to enjoy.
At Terhune Orchards, we grow and harvest fresh crops daily all year long. Our greenhouses and high tunnels allow us to provide fresh produce even during cooler weather.
Each month brings new crops. In June, we start harvesting lots of leafy greens, radishes, early broccoli, summer squash, beans and herbs. During July, we start bringing in our sweet corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and eggplant. July kicks off our peach season which lasts through early September. Watermelons and cantaloupes are a welcome treat in August when eggplants also arrive. Throughout the summer season we also harvest carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and beets.
August showcases freestone peaches, perfect for early cooking and preserves. Of course, nectarines are also an August favorite. By the end of the month, apple varieties are coming in, leading the way into the fall season.
Fall is a favorite time with dozens of apple varieties, pumpkins, gourds, mums and, of course, our fall vegetables, broccoli, winter squash, spinach, brussel sprouts and kales.
Every couple of days, new crops and varieties of vegetables, peaches and apples are picked during the season, so come often! You’re sure to find something new and different every time.
