Fun Activities

Visit our barnyard of animals, hay bale & corn mazes, pony rides, pumpkin picking & painting, pedal tractors, children’s play area and enjoy fresh, open air. Have fun at the hippity-hop corral and duck races. Explore the hands-on fun in our discovery barn, little tots farm store and junior mechanics shop. Barnyard Sports – barn filles with basketball toss, pumpkin bowling, baseball throw. Discover the farm during the scavenger hunt. Have a day full of farm fun on our family farm.

Flowers a plenty! The Pick Your Own Flower Patch will be blooming all fall. Wildflower Patch – take a stroll and see the the planting that supports a diversity of natural biodiversity and our soils. Visit the Pollinator Trail which enriches our soils, attracts pollinator and is wonderful to see.

New this season – expanded corn maze. Find the fun clues throughout the maze and have a fun adventure! Hay Bale Pyramid – these giant bales are fun for all ages as you take a photo in our pumpkin house. Enjoy apple tastings each weekend. Sample all the fresh varieties of the season. Wagon rides daily 11am-3pm!

Enjoy Live Music (12-4 p.m.)

Apple Fresh

Pam’s Food Pavilion is filled with country fare such as  pork sandwiches, hamburgers, homemade chili, cider donuts, fresh pie and much more.  Don’t miss season favorites of apple cider slush and hand scooped ice cream. Farm Store and Outdoor Farm Market are filled with farm-fresh produce, baked goods, Terhune Orchards wine, pies and cider.

Wine Orchard

In our 100 year old apple orchard, enjoy a pre-poured tasting flight or a glass of red, white or fruit-based wine made from our own grapes and fruit. Fall weekend admission required for winery.

Pick Your Own

Pick Your Own pumpkins are fall favorites at the farm. Choosing just the right pumpkin for your jack-o’-lanterns or decorations can be a family affair. New this year in our homegrown pumpkin patch you will find pumpkins of all sizes and colors, discover many shapes of gourds along with specialty stacker pumpkins. During pumpkin season, we have a pumpkin painting station set up on the weekends so children can decorate their own pumpkins.

New this fall: Pick Your Own assorted vegetables – have fun picking tomatoes, corn (sweet corn, popcorn, ornamental corn) and more. Pick Your Own Flower patch will be blooming all fall.

Apples – due to the devistating freeze the orchard experienced in April, pick your own apples will not be available for 2026 season. Please visit the farm store for fresh apples, cider, and apple treats.

Come to Terhune Orchards any weekend in the fall for fabulous farm fun, fresh air and music. Rain or shine, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
