SUMMARY:Read & Pick: Blueberries
DESCRIPTION:Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. \nYoung farmers are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about blueberries. We will be reading the book Blueberries for Sal followed by an educational component. Our farm staff will explain how blueberries grow and how they should be picked. Then everyone will pick their own small container of blueberries. \nThe cost is $12.00 per child and includes the container of blueberries. There are two sessions on Tuesdays at 9:30am and 11am\, each lasting about one hour.
