DESCRIPTION:Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. \nIn our next program\, we welcome young farmers to celebrate everything wonderful about strawberries. We will be reading two books highlighting strawberries followed by an educational component.  Then everyone will pick their own container of strawberries. Our farm staff will explain how strawberries grow and how they should be picked. \nThe cost is $12.00 per child and includes the craft activity. DESCRIPTION:Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. \nParents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about tractors. We will read two books about tractors and how they help farmers. Then everyone will participate in a tractor craft and take a tractor-drawn wagon ride. \nOwner Gary Mount’s favorite thing on the farm is his tractors. He will have all his tractors out and lined up for our young farmers to get a good look at the different kinds. \nThe cost is $12.00 per child and includes the craft activity. DESCRIPTION:The Antique Automobile Club of America Mid-Jersey Region returns to Terhune Orchards! \nRunning Boards\, Rumble Seats\, Three-on-the-Tree\, Hand Crank Start\, Spoke Wheels and Flat Windshields: most of us don’t remember these features on cars\, but if you want to see them up close\, and the autos that have them\, join us for a display of antique vehicles on Saturday\, June 20 from 10am-3pm. \nThis group of cars and trucks will take you back to a time before seat belts and cup holders were invented. Bring your kids and grandchildren so they can see how motoring used to look. Owners will be nearby and happy to explain the uniqueness and quirks of their cars. \nEnjoy a day on the farm with live music\, lunch\, and snack food. Visit the winery in the orchard as you enjoy the car show.

DESCRIPTION:Join Terhune Orchards as we celebrate “everything blueberry.”  Lots of fun for all ages throughout the weekend. \nTake a stroll around the farm including a visit to our 2-acre Pick-Your-Own blueberry patch (picking is as supplies last and not included in admission). Everyone will enjoy Tuckers’ Tales Puppet Theatre\, with two shows each day. Children will be enthralled with the lively songs and adventures of these characters. NJ Bubble Parties will have two shows each day with bubble fun! Have fun with a special blueberry-themed craft activity. \nAfter you’ve picked your blueberries\, relax and enjoy live local country music (12 to 4 p.m. both days). Enjoy the Sourland Mountain String Band on Saturday\, and the Fry Boys on Sunday. Say hello to our barnyard friends as you play in our children’s play area.  Enjoy children’s activities\, discovery barn and play houses. Don’t miss the hippity hop corral and duckie race. Take a pony ride around our pasture. \nWhen hunger strikes\, visit Pam Mount’s Blueberry Bash Buffet\, full of lots of tasty blueberry treats and homemade goodies – great for lunch or dessert.
