DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arrival of spring at Terhune Orchards’ Bunny Trail Spring Festival on Easter weekend: April 4 & 5\, 10am – 4pm. \nSpring has sprung at Terhune Orchards! The farm animals are enjoying spring in the pasture and the bulbs are blooming. Come for a fun family event. Follow the treasure hunt clues around the farm\, discovering the spring! At the end of the hunt\, guests can choose to do a bunny craft activity. Everyone gets a prize at the end of the trail. \nHave a great time playing on the farm – take a hop on the Hopscotch\, hula hoop the horse! Our special children’s playhouses will be open. Don’t miss having a hop in the Hippity Hop Corral or taking a duck for Ducky Race. Play in the tractor play area and take a pedal tractor for a spin. Take a pony ride around the pasture. \nNJ Bubble Parties will put on a fun interactive show full of bubbles of all kinds\, giant bubbles\, bubble snow\, bubble foam\, and more! Be amazed at the world of bubbles. Enjoy two shows each day during the festival. \nAfter following the bunny prints around the farm\, hop over to the Farm Food Pavilion. It will be filled with homemade goodies including donuts\, pie\, cookies\, apple cider\, soup\, chili\, salads\, hot dogs\, and much more. Adults can visit the Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery to sample our award-winning wines made from grapes grown right here on the farm. Stop in the Barn Door Café for a cider slush and hand-scooped ice cream. A fun non-competitive event for all ages! \nEnjoy live music on the farm: Barbara Lin Band on Saturday and Four the Record on Sunday. DESCRIPTION:Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series\, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program. \nEnjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months. \nWe will get ready to wake up from winter and prepare to start gardening. As St. Patrick’s Day is the traditional day to plant peas and spinach and get the garden ready\, we will start our gardens too! Our reading is a selection from “Frog and Toad Are Friends.” Each child will plant seeds to take home. \nPre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.
