Local artists exhibit paintings of the venerable apple trees at Terhune Orchards. Thirty-four paintings and photographs by noted local artists will tell the story of the century-old apple trees at the original Terhune farm. The exhibit brings to light the effects of climate change and focuses on how trees act as a buffer against climate change.

Starting Sunday Oct 16 through early November, selected artwork will be shown at Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, in Cadwalader Park on the second floor Gallery #5, before moving the artwork to Terhune’s wine barn on Cold Soil Road, in Lawrence.

The Art Show Opening at Terhune Orchards, home of the century-old apple trees, is Nov 19th.  From 1-3pm on Nov 19th, come meet the artists and view more than 30 pieces of art inspired by Terhune Orchards’ apple trees.  The art will be up for viewing in the Barn Door Café at Terhune Orchards 12-5pm Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 19th through Dec. 11th. Some of the artwork will be available for sale when the exhibit ends in December.
